It’s The Day

We’ve been very nervous all night, but it’s ok right now. We’ve done a lot of praying, and we feel very strongly that this surgery is the right thing to do in order to get Becca back up and moving around. It’s a little unreal still, we have moments of panic as the reality kinda hits home. Then we calm each-other down and try to relax.

Last night we had a very nice big meal at Outback, and then we stuffed ourselves again right before midnight becaus that was the cutoff time for eating before the surgery. Becca has been trying to stay well hydrated, and now we’ve reached the cutoff for no more fluids also.

The rest of the morning we’re just going to try to relax and also make sure everything is ready here for her return, which may be tomorrow morning. I’ll post little updates throughout the day today though.
